Burlington Baroque – Requiem for a King
October 30 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The Funeral Mass of Jean Gilles ( 1668-1705) was the most frequently presented Requiem Music in the Kingdom of France during the 18th century, including at the Funeral Service for King Louis XV. Don’t miss this regional premiere of a brilliant French Baroque masterpiece, rarely heard today.
